Public Boat Launch Reopens

The River Forecast Centre has lifted the advisory from the Chilcotin River/Fraser River confluence south to the Lower Mainland.

We are confident that the worst has past on the river. That being the case, the Boat Launch at Cayoosh Campground will reopen on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 8:00 a.m.

We continue to advise caution on the river as there is still excess debris both floating and under the surface of the water.
