Access to Markets

Lillooet is central to many markets; Whistler, 130 km southwest along Highway 99, is a strong market for organic produce, meats, and other artisanal food products as well as custom wood manufacturing.  The Lower Mainland is 4 hours away via Highway 12 and Highway 1 and the interior/northern markets of BC are readily accessed via Highway 99 to Highway 1 east or Highway 97 north.  There are opportunities to utilize freight trucks bringing supplies into Lillooet and ‘dead heading’ back to the Lower Mainland at reasonable cost.
