Emergency Room Closure

Interior Health Authority has advised that t the Emergency Room at the Lillooet District Hospital will be closed from Sunday, August 18, 2024 at 7:00 am until Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 8:00 am due to limited physician availability.

If you require emergency treatment you are advised to attend Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops during this time. People who need life-threatening emergency care should call 9-1-1 for transport to the nearest available and appropriate facility.

Anyone unsure whether an emergency room visit is warranted can call HealthLink BC at 8-1-1 or visit www.HealthLinkBC.ca for non-emergency health information from nurses, dieticians and pharmacists 24 hours a day, seven day a week.
