WATERING RESTRICTIONS: Stage 1 in Effect

 
Please be advised that as of September 15, 2023, the District has moved from Stage 2 down to Stage 1 Watering Restrictions pursuant to the Water Conservation Bylaw, 2011 No. 356:
 
Stage 1 Water Conservation Measures
 
During Stage 1, no person shall use a watering system to water a lawn, garden, or landscaped area on a property except:
 
Even numbered civic addresses

At premises with even numbered civic address, on even numbered calendar days between 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. for hose supplied sprinklers or between 12:00 midnight and 4:00 a.m. for underground automated sprinkler systems.
 
Odd numbered civic addresses

At premises with odd numbered civic address, on odd numbered calendar days between 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. for hose supplied sprinklers or between 12:00 midnight and 4:00 a.m. for underground automated sprinkler systems.
 
Exceptions

Handwatering, drip irrigation, and micro-sprinkler irrigation are permitted for flower and veggie gardens, planters, shrubs, and trees.
 
Stage 1 will be in effect until September 30 unless specifically extended. If you have questions regarding Stage 1 Water Conservation, please contact the District Office at 250-256-4289 during regular office hours.
