Development Variance Permit Notice

The District of Lillooet has received an application from the owners of
348 Reynolds Rd to consider a variance of the
Zoning Bylaw 2018, No. 454 and a variance of the
Subdivision and Development Servicing Bylaw 2007, No. 286. The applicant has applied to subdivide the lot to create one panhandle lot in the rear. The requested variances are:
- To vary the minimum frontage of a lot created by subdivision as prescribed in section 33.2(a) of the zoning bylaw from 10% of its perimeter fronting on a Highway to 1.98% of its perimeter fronting on a Highway as shown below.
- To vary the minimum front setback for an accessory residential building as prescribed in section 51.1.1 of the zoning bylaw from “must be located at least 3.0m behind the principal Dwelling Unit” to “must be located at least 3.0m from the principal Dwelling Unit, but may be sited in front of the principal dwelling unit.”
- To vary the requirement for a 1.5m wide paved sidewalk and a 1.0m wide gravel shoulder where the property fronts Reynolds Road as prescribed in section 6.5 of the Subdivision and Development Servicing Bylaw and section 6.1.1 of Schedule B of the Subdivision and Development Servicing Bylaw from required to not required.
Municipal Council will consider this application at their Regular Meeting held in Room 201 of the REC Centre at 930 Main Street, Lillooet, B.C., on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 commencing at 5:00 p.m.
A copy of the Council Meeting Agenda will be available for viewing at
www.lillooet.ca by 4 pm the preceding Friday. The proposed permit and supporting documentation may be inspected at the Development Services Department located at 615 Main Street between 8:30am to 12:00pm and 1:00pm to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, excluding holidays, up to and including
May 2, 2023.
Any person whose property may be affected by this proposed Development Variance Permit may appear in person, or by agent, at the Council meeting. Written submissions may be delivered to the District of Lillooet Municipal Office or emailed to
planning@lillooet.ca. All submissions must be received by 4:00 pm
May 2, 2023 or presented in person at the meeting to be considered by Council.
