Development Variance Permit Notice - DVP23-001

The District of Lillooet has received an application from the owners of 894 Eagleson Cres to consider a variance of the District of Lillooet Zoning Bylaw 2018, No. 454. The requested variances are:
  • Vary the minimum exterior side setback of an accessory building in the R-1 zone as prescribed in section 51.1.1 from 3.0 metres to 0 metres, as shown on Schedule B for Shed 1 and Shed 2.
  • Vary the minimum rear setback of a principal dwelling unit in the R-1 zone as prescribed in section 51.1.1 from 3.0 metres to 1.12 metres, as shown on Schedule B, to legitimize the existing structure.
Municipal Council will consider this application at their Regular Meeting held in Room 201 of the REC Centre at 930 Main Street, Lillooet, B.C., on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 commencing at 5:00 p.m.
Council will also be considering an encroachment agreement to legitimize the area of Shed 2 that extends beyond the property line by 0.50 m in order to address liability on a public right-of-way.
A copy of the Council Meeting Agenda will be available for viewing at by 4 pm the preceding Friday. The proposed permit and supporting documentation may be inspected at the Development Services Department located at 615 Main Street between 8:30am to 12:00pm and 1:00pm to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, excluding holidays, up to and including February 14, 2023.
