Notice to Waive a Public Hearing

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Section 467 of the Local Government Act that the Council of the District of Lillooet has waived the holding of a public hearing in relation to proposed Amendment Bylaw No. 2020-018, being an amendment to the District of Lillooet Zoning Bylaw 2018, No. 454.

Section 464 provides for the waiving of a public hearing in relation to land use bylaws that are consistent with an official community plan (OCP) bylaw and, in this instance, Amendment Bylaw No. 2020-018, is seen to be consistent with the District of Lillooet Official Community Plan Bylaw 2008 No. 320.

Amendment Bylaw No. 2020-018, proposes to add “Micro-Brewery, Winery, and Distillery” as permitted uses within the Industrial (I) zone.

The District of Lillooet Council will consider third reading and adoption of Amendment Bylaw No. 2020-018 at its regular meeting on Monday June 1, 2020 with the meeting to be held electronically under Ministerial Order No. 139.

The proposed bylaw may be inspected on the District’s Civic Portal.
